Maintenance Supervisor

Responsibilities

Aid in completing work orders from resident service requests by diagnosing issues and executing repairs according to established policies and safety standards.

Oversee the "make-ready" process for vacant apartments, which includes inspections, creation of maintenance task lists, scheduling contractors, procurement of supplies, and ensuring all tasks meet high standards.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in general maintenance.
• Schedule flexibility, including weekend availability as needed.
• Ability to respond to emergencies and participate in an on-call rotation.
• Experience supporting an additional 51-unit property in Wheeling, Illinois.
• 2+ years of direct supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience with RealPage One Site or similar property management software preferred.
• Strong skills in HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and electrical/appliance repairs.
• General knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Experience in affordable housing preferred.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs.
• High school diploma or equivalent; certification in a related trade preferred.
