Maintenance Supervisor
Responsibilities
Maintain and repair plant equipment.
Manage maintenance schedules and budget.
Recommend and manage new projects and cost reductions.
Champion preventive maintenance program and ensure work order completion.
Interface and collaborate with Purchasing, Operations, and Maintenance Planning.
Verify work instructions and prepare/implement work schedules.
Develop and train team members.
Ensure maximum uptime performance of production centers.
Qualifications
- Supervise and direct hourly maintenance workers.
- Lead and influence subordinates and peers through coaching and behavior modeling.
- Associate degree (AA) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school plus five to eight years related experience and/or training.
- Proficiency in all Microsoft office products with strong emphasis in Excel.
- Experience with Oracle preferred.
- Background with manufacturing methods, process improvement programs, and procedures.
- Knowledge and experience with natural gas furnaces, gas combustion systems, bag houses, environmental equipment, refractories, mobile equipment, PLCs, and electrical.
- Excellent interpersonal, planning, organizing, time management, and computer skills.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to use logic and reasoning to analyze maintenance procedures and systems.
