About the role
The Grove at Carolina Park is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the maintenance team and ensure the property's integrity.
Responsibilities
- Support hiring, training, supervising, and motivating the maintenance staff with guidance from the Property Manager
- Perform inspections of the property and address any maintenance needs
- Follow up on service requests performed by the maintenance team
- Complete work orders in a timely manner based on priority
- Inspect and coordinate the make-ready process
- Demonstrate customer service skills by treating residents, staff, and vendors professionally
- Maintain property grounds and common areas to meet company standards
- Perform preventative maintenance
- Maintain a clean and organized shop and other work areas
- Adhere to all safety policies and procedures
Qualifications
- A High School Diploma or equivalent, a college degree is preferred
- A valid driver’s license is required
- EPA HVAC and CPO certifications are preferred
- New construction experience is preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required
- Basic computer knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) is required
- Able to multitask and meet deadlines in a timely manner
- Willingness to work flexible schedules, including on-call weekends
- Legal authorization to work in the United States
Pay
$35 per hour
