About the role

At Niagara, we're seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to join our dynamic and entrepreneurial team. The ideal candidate will oversee maintenance tasks, manage a team, and contribute to maintaining high-quality production equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinates day-to-day activities of maintenance workers to ensure reliable and safe operation of production equipment.
  • Maintains and oversees the maintenance of injection molding, blow molding, and packaging equipment.
  • Schedules and manages preventative maintenance activities.
  • Reviews and approves preventative maintenance documents.
  • Hires, trains, coaches, and reviews the performance of employees.
  • Works with HR for employee discipline issues, terminations, and recruitment.
  • Interfaces with others in the organization to meet customer deadlines.
  • Manages safety team activities, monitors and enforces safety requirements, and builds a positive work environment.
  • Develops, recommends, and implements measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product.
  • Analyzes and resolves work problems or assists workers in solving work problems.
  • Maintains time and maintenance records.
  • Maintains a clean work environment.
  • Maintains world-class mechanical and preventative maintenance teams to keep production equipment in excellent condition.

  • 4 years of experience in a field or similar manufacturing environment.

  • Preferably 6 years of experience in a field or similar manufacturing environment.

  • Minimum required: Associate's Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or other related field/vocational studies.
  • Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or other related field/vocational studies.
  • Minimum required: 4 years of experience in a field or similar manufacturing environment.
  • Preferred: 6 years of experience in a field or similar manufacturing environment.
  • Minimum required: Associate's Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or other related field/vocational studies.
  • Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or other related field/vocational studies.
