About the role
At Niagara, we're seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to join our dynamic and entrepreneurial team. The ideal candidate will oversee maintenance tasks, manage a team, and contribute to maintaining high-quality production equipment.
Responsibilities
- Coordinates day-to-day activities of maintenance workers to ensure reliable and safe operation of production equipment.
- Maintains and oversees the maintenance of injection molding, blow molding, and packaging equipment.
- Schedules and manages preventative maintenance activities.
- Reviews and approves preventative maintenance documents.
- Hires, trains, coaches, and reviews the performance of employees.
- Works with HR for employee discipline issues, terminations, and recruitment.
- Interfaces with others in the organization to meet customer deadlines.
- Manages safety team activities, monitors and enforces safety requirements, and builds a positive work environment.
- Develops, recommends, and implements measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product.
- Analyzes and resolves work problems or assists workers in solving work problems.
- Maintains time and maintenance records.
- Maintains a clean work environment.
- Maintains world-class mechanical and preventative maintenance teams to keep production equipment in excellent condition.

- 4 years of experience in a field or similar manufacturing environment.

- Preferred: 6 years of experience in a field or similar manufacturing environment.
