Maintenance Supervisor

Major Job Responsibilities

• Responsible for effective use of resource allocation, including personnel and material
• Owns uptime of equipment
• Complies with the terms of local and national labor agreements
• Implements corporate policies
• Manages complex situations through interaction with internal and external customers
• Keeps management informed of developments as they occur
• Maintains department records (top 5 downtime, indirect materials spend, PM compliance, etc.)
• Maintains corporate management control systems

Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelor degree or Journeyman card in mechanical or electrical is preferred or equivalent experience
• 5 or more years of manufacturing supervisory experience
• Knowledge of processes and procedures
• High level of oral and written communication skills and problem solving techniques
• Knowledge of scheduling and other management systems
• Relatively high level of analytical ability where problems are complex
• High level of interpersonal skills to work effectively with others, motivate employees and elicit work output
• Knowledge of quality control procedures
• Ability to work alternate shifts/schedules
