Key responsibilities
- Ensure all equipment is used and maintained in line with supplier's guidelines.
- Create and plan Preventative Maintenance tasks or repairs to be carried out in a timely and safe manner, minimizing disruption to the operation.
- Follow maintenance plan in the most efficient way to ensure minimal impact on the operation, but in a routine which achieves supplier guidelines as a minimum.
- Direct and lead sanitation team to maintain site cleanliness and appearance.
- Ensure that all work is completed in a safe and timely manner.
- Work closely with equipment suppliers and/or contractors to ensure proper training of maintenance technicians.
- Complete agreed internal reporting and communication as required by Site manager.
- Develop a understanding of all equipment and contracts on site including cooling systems, oxygen reduction, doors etc.
- Commit to ongoing self and team development through internal and external resources.
- Meet the physical demands of the Maintenance and Operator team roles.
Requirements
- 8-10+ years of maintenance experience.
- 1-2 years of team lead or supervision experience.
- Strong knowledge of troubleshooting, repair and maintenance of automated machinery (conveyors, automated cranes, palletizers, trolleys).
- Electrical, mechanical, or electromechanical knowledge.
- Knowledge of PLCs (Allen Bradley, Siemens).
