About the role

NewCold is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to effectively supervise the maintenance and sanitation team at our warehouse. This role ensures a level of service in line with technical requirements, including preventative maintenance and repairs to all relevant equipment on site. The position utilizes Fiix, our CMMS (computerized maintenance management system) software, and focuses on maintaining professional culture and a commitment to Health & Safety.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all equipment (conveyors, cranes, cooling systems, fire protection, freeze doors, oxygen reduction, and other installations) is used and maintained in line with supplier's guidelines.
• Create and plan Preventative Maintenance tasks or repairs to be carried out in a timely and safe manner, minimizing disruption to operations.
• Work within budgeted guidelines and achieve agreed KPIs.
• Follow the maintenance plan efficiently to ensure minimal impact on operations while meeting supplier guidelines.
• Direct and lead the sanitation team to maintain site cleanliness and appearance.
• Ensure all work is completed in a safe and timely manner.
• Work closely with equipment suppliers and/or contractors to ensure proper training of maintenance technicians.
• Complete internal reporting and communication as required by the Site Manager.
• Develop an understanding of all equipment and contracts on site, including cooling systems, oxygen reduction, and doors.
• Commit to ongoing self and team development through internal and external resources.
• Meet the physical demands of the Maintenance and Operator team roles.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• 8-10+ years of maintenance experience.
• 1-2 years of team lead or supervision experience.
• Strong knowledge of troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of automated machinery (conveyors, automated cranes, palletizers, trolleys).
• Electrical, mechanical, or electromechanical knowledge.
• Knowledge of PLCs (Allen Bradley, Siemens).

Qualifications

Associate's degree preferred but not required.
