MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR

Responsibilities

• Oversight and coordination of repairs and maintenance activities, including grounds and facilities, across multiple large retirement housing locations.
• Ensuring a safe, comfortable, and well-maintained living environment for residents.
• Leading and managing a team of maintenance staff.
• Providing leadership to the location maintenance team and having extensive knowledge of building systems to ensure the efficient and effective operation of designated locations.
• Supervising, training, and managing a team of maintenance staff across multiple complex locations, assigning tasks, setting schedules, and monitoring performance to ensure high-quality work and timely completion of work orders.
• Carrying out minor repairs where possible and driving a high-performance culture within your team.
• Aspiring to carry out more repairs ourselves and offer an excellent repairs service to our residents and location teams.

Requirements

• A trade background.
• Experience in supervising and managing a team of maintenance staff.
• Extensive knowledge of building systems.
• Ability to lead and motivate a team towards achieving high standards of work and service.
