Maintenance Supervisor

Snapshot of a Day-in-the-Life
- Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices following all sanitation and process procedures
- Communicate requirement for corrective work to Planning in a formal, timely fashion (e.g., work order)
- Conduct quarterly audits of Trades people against the skills matrix; identify and apply remedial action to resolve shortfalls
- Provide inputs into Preventive Maintenance (PM) reviews and PM development activities
- Responsible for assigned activities related to the site's asset performance improvement objectives and guidelines
- Oversee internal equipment rebuilds and review external rebuilds
- Provide input to the work prioritization process and manage emergency and break-in work
- Provide inputs into changes that affect the asset's bills of materials (BOM) and work with stores to optimize part/material levels
- Own the weekly schedule once published and adjust to accommodate emergency and break-in work
- Provide technical assistance as required for maintenance personnel in executing the work
- Assign work to work crews based on their competency, rather than on their availability
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science or Degree in Industrial Maintenance Technology, or a combination of 5 to 10 years of progressive, manufacturing maintenance supervisory experience
- BRC/Food transport and storage experience preferred
- Ability to apply procedures and best practices to be implemented in a CMMS Reliability Maintenance Program
- SAP/ECP knowledge and experience preferred
- Strong communication and computer application skills
- Technically proficient with MRO Inventory stores, industrial electricity, PLC, Motor Controls
Skills
- Ability to work on your feet for 6-8 hours per day in both cold and warm environments
- Detail-oriented and organized, able to prioritize multiple requests
- Experience in developing and incorporating Predictive, Preventative, and Proactive maintenance requirements for equipment asset systems within an industrial maintenance environment
- Knowledge of OHSA Safety practices, standards, and regulations

Pay
$80,169 – $87,000 USD base pay annually plus annual short-term incentive
