Maintenance Supervisor

About the role

We are seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee daily maintenance operations at multifamily apartment communities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate the maintenance team by providing direction and exemplifying best practices.
• Ensure property appearance, safety, and compliance with maintenance standards.
• Manage service requests, unit turns, and preventative maintenance schedules.
• Conduct property inspections to identify hazards and maintain safety protocols.
• Oversee pool safety and daily logs, and maintain all necessary documentation.
• Respond to after-hours emergencies such as sewer backups or flooding.
• Maintain tools, supplies, and workspaces organized and safe.
• Perform or supervise repairs in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, roofing, carpentry, and appliance areas.

Qualifications and Skills

• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
• EPA and HVAC certifications.
• Minimum of 2 years of multifamily maintenance supervisory experience in properties with 200+ units.
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs., work outdoors in all weather, and perform physical tasks including climbing and bending.
• Strong management, communication, and team leadership skills.
• Proficiency in building systems, safety standards, and maintenance procedures.
