About the Role
The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for the team members on their shift, including their safety, quality of work, and meeting department goals. This position uses their knowledge and skills to teach, guide, and support the development of each team member, reporting to the Maintenance Manager for guidance and direction.
Responsibilities
- Work with team members to continue their growth and development.
- Track departmental safety, quality, and production using reports, documentation, and data sheets (handwritten and/or digital).
- Monitor, train, and audit areas to ensure compliance with Work Instructions, SOPs, and Key Points.
- Ensure adherence to all department safety rules and regulations, including facility PPE requirements.
- Perform other duties as required.
Requirements
- Leadership abilities and experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Technical school or 2-year college; or six months to one year of experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience with Machine Repair required.
- Experience with heavy equipment, industrial, maintenance, or automotive repair preferred.
- Willingness to learn and contribute to the growth of the Maintenance Team.
- Experience leading a group of people in a manufacturing and/or shop environment is a plus.

- Ability to work well in a multi-cultural environment.
- Ability to read and comprehend basic English.
- Ability to follow instructions.
- Familiarity with production equipment.
- Good working knowledge of metric and standard tools.
- Basic understanding of computers, email, and software for teaching, training, and tracking processes in an EAM system.
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
- Requires occasional physical activity throughout the shift (except breaks and lunch), including walking, sitting, standing, bending, stooping, squatting, reaching, and handling.
- Requires near/far vision, pushing, pulling, carrying, and lifting objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Willingness to work in hot/humid, cold, and noisy industrial environments.
