Maintenance Supervisor

About the role

The Maintenance Supervisor position is a Full Time benefit eligible position, Monday – Thursday 7:00 am - 4:30pm, Friday 7:00am-11:00am, must be available for rotating on-call for evenings and weekends at our Cicero property located at 8701 Knowledge Lane.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the interior and exterior physical appearance (curb appeal) and upkeep of all assigned housing units.
• Oversight, sharing and completion of items in a safe manner such as work orders, turnovers, and projects.
• In a timely manner, communicates significant incidents, issues and or concerns to the Property Manager.

Requirements

• Must be available for rotating on-call for evenings and weekends.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience in maintenance or related field.
• Experience working with residents and understanding their needs.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Skills

• Proficient in using maintenance tools and equipment.
• Knowledge of building codes and safety regulations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Pay

Pay range is $24-$26/hr.

Schedule

Monday – Thursday 7:00 am - 4:30pm, Friday 7:00am-11:00am.
