Maintenance Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Inspect and coordinate maintenance tasks
• Prepare vacant apartments for leasing
• Maintain the community's cleanliness and appearance
• Manage inventory
• Perform preventative maintenance
• Support cost-cutting initiatives
• Conduct safety meetings

Requirements

• Own hand tools and use them safely and maintain them
• Apply logical thinking to solve problems
• Show strong customer service and communication skills
• Write effectively to represent the company and explain department policies
• Be proficient in internet, word processing, spreadsheet, and database programs, especially property management systems
• Have mathematical skills for financial/budget tasks
• Have EPA certifications Type I and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling
• Have CPO certification (willing to obtain)
• Have all required certifications as per State and Local jurisdictions
• Have a valid driver’s license
• Have a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience/training
• Participate in a rotating on-call schedule
• Work in an office environment and have frequent exposure to outside elements
• Be able to physically access all exterior and interior parts of the community and amenities
• Be able to push, pull, lift, carry, or maneuver weights up to 20 pounds independently and 50 pounds with assistance
• Routine local travel may be required
• Have all required licenses and/or certifications as per State and Local jurisdictions
• Have a valid driver’s license to drive while visiting property
