Responsibilities
- Inspect and coordinate maintenance tasks
- Prepare vacant apartments for leasing
- Maintain the community's cleanliness and appearance
- Manage inventory
- Perform preventative maintenance
- Support cost-cutting initiatives
- Conduct safety meetings
Requirements
- Own hand tools and use them safely and maintain them
- Apply logical thinking to solve problems
- Show strong customer service and communication skills
- Write effectively to represent the company and explain department policies
- Be proficient in internet, word processing, spreadsheet, and database programs, especially property management systems
- Have mathematical skills for financial/budget tasks
- Have EPA certifications Type I and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling
- Have CPO certification (willing to obtain)
- Have all required certifications as per State and Local jurisdictions
- Have a valid driver’s license
- Have a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience/training
- Participate in a rotating on-call schedule
- Work in an office environment and have frequent exposure to outside elements
- Be able to physically access all exterior and interior parts of the community and amenities
- Be able to push, pull, lift, carry, or maneuver weights up to 20 pounds independently and 50 pounds with assistance
- Routine local travel may be required
- Have all required licenses and/or certifications as per State and Local jurisdictions
- Have a valid driver’s license to drive while visiting property
