Responsibilities

• Contribute to the overall success of the facility by supervising the maintenance and upkeep of the company's equipment, building(s), and grounds, in a manner that minimizes interruptions to the operation.
• Plans, directs, and implements safety programs to ensure a safe, healthy, and accident-free work environment.
• Manages the daily operations of the Maintenance Department, ensuring all organizational and departmental goals are met.
• Performs both scheduled and unscheduled troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance.
• Supervises maintenance department staff, including security personnel.
• Performs preventive maintenance to prevent unnecessary expenses and untimely failure, as needed.
• Oversees installation, repair, and maintenance of building systems, including electrical, plumbing, and mechanical.
• Maintains accountabilities for all assigned budget lines and capital expenditures.
• Advises and supports team members as needed.
• Consults with vendors and security services to ensure satisfactory service levels and fair pricing.
• Recommends improvements to operational processes and resolves maintained performance.
• Plans, writes, and implements safety policies and procedures in compliance with local, state, and federal OSHA rules and regulations.
• Plans, develops, and implements training programs for managers and employees on safety practices, fire prevention, and proper handling of chemicals, equipment, and procedures.
• Inspects facility to detect hazards.
• Led investigations into accidents and injuries.
• Maintains safety files and records.
• Supervises employees in compliance with company policies including hiring, training, scheduling, and directing work.
• Evaluates quality of work, conducts performance appraisals, and consults employees.
• Addresses complaints and resolves problems.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 3 + years of Maintenance Supervisory experience.
• Ability to lift to 50lbs.
• Prolonged standing/walking, physical mobility in maintenance environment.
• Must be able to work 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, weekends as needed.
• Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
