Maintenance Supervisor

About the role

Habitat America, LLC is seeking a qualified Maintenance Supervisor for Southern Pines II Apartments, an affordable senior housing community in Lusby, MD. This role is part of a fast-growing property management company based in the Mid-Atlantic region.

Responsibilities

• Handle all technical matters related to general apartment maintenance
• Assist with unit turnovers
• Participate in the after-hours on-call rotation

Requirements

• 3+ years of prior apartment maintenance experience
• Intermediate to advanced experience with HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliance repair
• HVAC & CFC certifications are a plus
• Experience with split system HVAC units is highly desired
• Ability to understand and oversee work performed by contractors
• Pleasant and professional demeanor at all times
• Reliable transportation to get to work and respond to on-call emergencies
• Ability to exert 25 to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or 10 to 20 pounds of force constantly
• Availability for emergency situations at the property, including an on-call rotation
