Maintenance Supervisor

Habitat America, LLC is a fast-growing property management company largely based in the Mid-Atlantic region, seeking a skilled Maintenance Supervisor for The Chimes at North Bethesda, a brand-new construction building in North Bethesda, MD.

About the role

This position is responsible for all technical matters related to general apartment maintenance, including maintenance tickets, unit turnovers, and after-hours on-call rotation. The Maintenance Supervisor directly reports to the Community Manager.

Responsibilities

• Perform and oversee general apartment maintenance tasks
• Troubleshoot and repair appliances
• Handle basic plumbing, electrical work, drywall, and painting
• Assist with unit turnovers
• Participate in the after-hours on-call rotation
• Understand and oversee work performed by contractors

Requirements

• 3+ years of apartment maintenance experience or a similar role
• Experience with HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance repairs, general carpentry, drywall, and painting
• HVAC & CFC certifications are a plus
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Energetic, self-motivated, and able to work collaboratively
• Pleasant and professional demeanor at all times
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
• Extensive mobility and excellent physical condition
• Ability and willingness to work weekends and participate in an on-call rotation
