Responsibilities
- Frequently inspect facilities to proactively detect potential problems and recommend the necessary repair or maintenance
- Utilize SAP/CMMS to plan, schedule, track, and analyze maintenance activities, ensuring data integrity to support reliability improvements and cost control
- Create and enter comprehensive job details, and assign work to qualified team members
- Plan and execute major maintenance events, ensuring safety, cost control, and schedule adherence
- Inspect the quality of performed maintenance work, as required
- Communicate policies, procedures, and any updates to maintenance staff
- Maintain oversight of jobs and ensure all jobs are executed on time, to the budget, and without compromising building users' safety
- Manage contractors and service providers, ensuring compliance with site safety standards, scope execution, and cost effectiveness
- Help with the creation and maintenance of Asset Integrity program
- Develop maintenance procedures and proactive maintenance programs like Preventative maintenance
- Drive maintenance performance through Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) such as schedule compliance, PM completion, equipment uptime, and maintenance cost performance
- Recommend budget items, contributing to the development of an annual maintenance budget
- Recommend upgrades, overhauls, and other changes to major systems and equipment
- Participate in projects/PHA’s/RCA’s
- In partnership with senior management, accountable for performance management and monitoring of employees
- Assess the premises to ensure they are safe and not in violation of any regulations
- Sign off on SWP/LOTOV/Line Break/ Elevated work Permits for maintenance and operations
- Lead Wyoming Fixed Asset and Spare Parts programs
Qualifications
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and task completion dates, strong time management
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills; Ability to work independently and must have strong follow-up, organization and interpersonal skills to deal with all levels of employees
- Details, deadline and customer service oriented, with the ability to integrate information to accurately understand and apply to an overall procedure and/or process
- Good problem-solving skills
- Result driven and self-starter
- Ability to initiate process improvements
- Minimum three years’ experience in manufacturing operations required with pharmaceutical, specialty chemical or food additive plant experience highly preferred
- Working knowledge of rotating equipment, piping systems, instrumentation, and process systems typical of a chemical manufacturing environment
- Experience with SAP, especially related to business systems
- Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment, effectively interface with other operating departments, meet and demand performance required to meet and exceed assigned responsibilities
- Demonstrated ability to handle large amount of data in an organized manner, with high accuracy, and perform analysis
