About the role
Ross - A Division of Envolve professionally manages apartment communities in markets throughout the southeastern United States. We are seeking a Full-Time Maintenance Supervisor for Libertad in Glendale, AZ. This role is responsible for all aspects of facility and maintenance equipment, including scheduled maintenance, repairs, and training for other maintenance personnel.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of facility and maintenance equipment, including HVAC, electrical systems, plumbing, and special equipment.
- Perform on-site basic repairs for appliances, water heaters, HVAC systems, electrical systems, plumbing, and other property-specific equipment.
- Conduct maintenance training for other personnel assigned to the property.
- Respond to emergency maintenance calls 24 hours a day when scheduled.
- Perform minor carpentry duties.
- Execute preventive maintenance tasks, including:
- Winterizing facilities to prevent freeze damage.
- Periodic inspections of HVAC systems.
- Winterizing and maintaining swimming pool equipment and systems.
- Cleaning the swimming pool and maintaining proper chemical balance during the swimming season.
- Ensuring lights and HVAC are turned off in vacant units daily.
- Train and inspect the quality of work of other maintenance personnel.
- Conduct joint interviews of maintenance applicants with the Community Manager.
- Perform administrative duties, including:
- Recording and responding to maintenance requests using proper procedures and forms.
- Maintaining inventory of parts.
- Safely move heavy equipment using proper tools and techniques.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- 3 to 8 years of maintenance experience required.
- College degree preferred.
- HVAC and EPA certifications preferred.
- Valid driver’s license required.
- Previous multifamily experience preferred but not required.
- Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certification preferred.
Pay
$32.00 - $34.00 an hour
