Maintenance Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the day-to-day skilled maintenance tasks including; electrical, painting, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry mechanics, and troubleshooting equipment repair.
• Performs daily inspection of equipment.
• Responds in a courteous manner to all guest questions, requests and complaints.
• Complies with safety regulations and maintains clean and orderly work areas.
• Diagnostics skills, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments.
• Uses a variety of hand and power tools, meters and material handling equipment in performing duties.
• Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations.
• Performs preventative maintenance procedures on building mechanical equipment on a scheduled basis.
• Responds to emergency maintenance requests as required.
• Assist with day-to-day staffing plan and assign work to enhance department efficiency.
• Understand and respond to customers’ needs and ensure a high level of guest satisfaction.
• Educate and train all team members in compliance with national and local laws and safety regulations.
• Ensure a safe and secure environment for guests and team members in compliance with regulatory policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• 3 to 5 years of related experience in general building maintenance procedures
• Ability to reason and use strong judgment skills
• Strong leadership skills
• Teamwork orientation
• The ability to connect and effectively communicate with people quickly in an outgoing, friendly manner
• The ability to complete work accurately and in accordance with company standards
