Maintenance Supervisor

Commercial and Residential Management Group (CRMG) is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the maintenance team and operations at the 184-unit Center Plaza Apartments in Beaverton, OR. This community features an indoor pool, fitness center, and playground.

About the Role

You will lead the maintenance staff, manage physical assets, handle general repairs, address safety issues, prepare apartments for new tenants, perform preventive maintenance, and oversee construction or rehabilitation projects. Additional responsibilities include maintaining repair supplies inventory and monitoring the monthly maintenance budget.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and motivate the maintenance team.
• Oversee apartment make-readies and preventive maintenance.
• Manage construction and rehabilitation projects.
• Maintain adequate inventory of repair supplies.
• Monitor the monthly maintenance budget.
• Ensure compliance with all city, county, state, and federal landlord, tenant, and fair housing laws.
• Model and teach safety-first practices.
• Perform janitorial duties, including operating a pressure washer, vacuum cleaner, and other manual/power equipment.
• Handle chemicals safely and lift up to 60 pounds.
• Respond to after-hours and inclement weather emergencies.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• Two years in a Maintenance III position or three years of maintenance-related experience, preferably in property management for commercial or multi-family properties.
• One year of supervisory experience.
• Janitorial experience.
• Pool maintenance experience (if applicable).
• Advanced knowledge in electrical, plumbing, carpentry, appliance repair, and painting.
• Positive attitude with strong team leadership and motivation skills.
• Excellent time management, delegation, and resource management abilities.
• Reliable transportation capable of transporting tools, including power washing equipment.
• Availability for after-hours and emergency call-outs.
• Current and valid driver’s license, proof of insurance, and a clean driving record.

Pay

$28.00–$35.00 per hour.

Schedule

Full-time, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM (40 hours per week).
