Maintenance Supervisor

About the role

Crafco, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to manage the maintenance and upkeep of our manufacturing plant and its equipment at our facility in Halls, TN. This role involves supervising maintenance activities, performing preventative maintenance, and handling emergency repairs in a safe and professional manner.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and monitor all assets for proper operation and mechanical condition.
• Supervise inspection results and necessary follow-up actions.
• Perform preventative maintenance and emergency repairs as required.
• Maintain detailed equipment logs identifying all repairs, inspections, and outcomes.
• Conduct the plant’s preventative maintenance program in accordance with its requirements.
• Assist in the installation of new projects or upgrades.
• Be willing to work overtime and various shifts when required.

Qualifications

• Trade School education or equivalent (1–3 years) required.
• 3–5 years of supervisory maintenance experience.
• Knowledge of general shop math, reading charts/tables/drawings, and use of job-related tools, gauges, and instruments.
• Basic understanding of plumbing, heating, ventilation, electrical, and machine maintenance.
• Working knowledge of pumps, motors, oil lines, and automated equipment (servo motors, sensors, conveyors, and continuous equipment flow in a line-run sealant manufacturing plant).
• Ability to frequently lift and move materials/objects averaging 25–60 lbs, and occasionally over 60 lbs.
