About the role
The Maintenance Supervisor at Corrugated Supplies Company (CSC) leads all activities related to the mechanics of setting up, installing, dismantling, assembling, troubleshooting, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining machinery and equipment used in the process of making corrugated sheets. This position ensures that all equipment runs properly and meets operational and specification requirements.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development of maintenance schedules and prioritize tasks.
- Provide guidance, instruction, and training to a team of technicians to ensure effective and safe maintenance tasks are performed.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to ensure the ongoing reliability and performance of equipment and systems.
- Schedule routine inspections, lubrication, calibration, and other maintenance tasks to minimize breakdowns and extend equipment lifespan.
- Oversee troubleshooting activities to diagnose and resolve equipment malfunctions.
- Coordinate repairs to minimize equipment downtime and production delays.
- Maintain inventory levels to ensure adequate stock of critical parts.
- Ensure maintenance activities comply with safety regulations and company policies.
- Keep maintenance records and logs up-to-date.
- Stay informed about new technologies, maintenance best practices, and industry trends relevant to equipment and systems.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required.
- A minimum of five years of experience in industrial maintenance, including a strong background in electrical and mechanical aspects.
- Experience with BHS corrugators is preferred.
- Five or more years of experience in a manufacturing facility, specifically in installing and troubleshooting electrical components and machinery.
- Two or more years of experience in a lead or supervisory role within a manufacturing environment.
Qualifications
- Associate degree related to industrial maintenance, strongly preferred.
- Corrugator experience required.
- Language skills: Working understanding of spoken and written English.
- Mathematical skills: Ability to read and use a non-metric measuring tape, count, perform simple mathematics (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division).
