Maintenance Supervisor

Salary: $25.00 - $27.00 | Full-Time | Monday–Friday, 40hrs | On-Call Rotation

About the Role

Lead with skill and serve with purpose as a Maintenance Supervisor at Conifer Realty. You’ll oversee repairs and lead a team that keeps affordable housing communities safe, comfortable, and thriving. This role ensures quality, efficiency, and resident satisfaction in a company with 50 years of experience building affordable housing.

Requirements

• 5+ years of apartment or residential maintenance experience, including team supervision.
• HVAC certification and knowledge of inspections, preventive maintenance, and Fair Housing.
• Expertise in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and safety compliance.
• Experience managing budgets, vendors, and maintenance schedules.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Yardi or similar systems.
• Reliable transportation and ability to respond within 30 minutes for on-call emergencies.
• High school diploma or GED (technical or vocational training preferred).

Responsibilities

• Lead and train maintenance staff to uphold Conifer’s quality and safety standards.
• Manage work orders, make-ready units, and preventive maintenance schedules.
• Coordinate with the Community Manager on budgets, inspections, and resident care.
• Ensure compliance with safety and housing regulations.
• Assist with repairs, groundskeeping, and seasonal tasks when needed.

Schedule

Work schedules are Monday–Friday, 40 hours per week, with an on-call rotation. Saturdays may be required based on property performance needs such as occupancy levels, leasing activity, and rent collections. Weekend coverage is scheduled on a rotating basis and aligned with business priorities. Employees are expected to support leasing efforts, resident engagement, and rent collection activities during scheduled weekend hours. Schedules are subject to change based on business needs.
