Maintenance Supervisor

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Communicate with maintenance team before and after direct reports start and end their shift to maintain solid communication and next steps within the team.
• Plan team schedule for their direct areas of ownership.
• Perform monthly one on one communication meetings with direct reports.
• Forecast training to keep a safe, proactive and productive environment.
• Work directly with maintenance planner and parts room associates to make sure parts are ready in time for projects, work orders and emergency repairs.
• Actively collaborate with all plant managers and supervisors.
• Schedule and conduct preventive maintenance.
• Generate and complete work orders as assigned.
• Install new equipment and rebuild and fabricate parts.
• Manage parts inventory to ensure adequate inventory.
• Schedule and conduct production line set-ups.
• Maintain clean and safe work area at all times.

Job Requirements

• A high school diploma, GED or equivalent required.
• A bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field preferred.
• Two plus years of industrial and/or manufacturing maintenance leadership preferred.
• Five years of industrial maintenance experience required.
• Knowledge of Programmable Logic Controls (PLCs) preferred.
• Demonstrated mechanical, technical and electrical aptitude.
• Strong analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with computer applications.
• Must be able to work nights, weekends or other irregular hours as required.
• Standing for up to 7 hours in one shift.
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment that requires lifting, pushing, or pulling 50 lbs often.
