Maintenance Supervisor
What You’ll Do
- Oversight and leadership of the maintenance team
- Prioritizing, assigning, and providing quality control of work orders
- Supervising and performing high-level, technically proficient maintenance tasks
- Scheduling and overseeing vendor work
- Managing unit turnovers and make-readies
- Executing preventative maintenance plans
- Managing the maintenance budget and controlling costs
- Assisting with construction and rehabilitation projects
- Ensuring organization and cleanliness of work areas
- Participating in on-call emergency duties

The Flight at Dayton is a luxury, off-campus apartment community in Dayton, OH, near Miami Valley Hospital. It features studio, 1, 2, 3, and 4-bedroom floor plans, catering to students and young professionals.
What You'll Own
Overseeing and leading the maintenance team, prioritizing and assigning work orders, managing contracts and proposals, scheduling vendor work, managing turnovers, executing preventative maintenance, managing the budget, assisting with construction projects, ensuring cleanliness, and participating in on-call duties.
What You Bring
- A high school degree or equivalent
- A bachelor’s degree preferred
- At least 2 years’ experience in a student housing or conventional multi-family apartment maintenance field
- Previous supervisory experience strongly preferred
- EPA Certification (Type I and II)
- CPO (Certified Pool Operator) certification or ability to obtain within 6 months
- Frequent walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, lifting up to 50 lbs, and using a ladder
- Living within 30 miles of the assigned property and having reliable transportation
