Where people get better at life! Join us in our mission to make a difference and shape a more inclusive future. The Maintenance Supervisor directs and coordinates maintenance department activities, functions and staff in a long term care facility.
Responsibilities
- Supervises staff in maintaining, servicing and operating all facility equipment, fixtures, grounds and ensures overall working condition and appearance of building grounds and facilities
- Has a thorough knowledge of commercial building equipment, operations, can trouble shoot electric, HVAC, mechanical and plumbing infrastructure
- Responsible for the day to day supervision, planning and organizing the work
- Ability to provide detailed instructions and direction to staff both verbal and in writing
- Can interpret and understand complex issues and problems
- Ability to use computer systems and programs, MS Excel, Word etc.
- Reports directly to the Director of Maintenance
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Must be at least 18 years old to apply
- Able to lift and carry a minimum of 50 lbs
Pay
Compensation Range: $28.37 - $30.72
