About the role
Lead Maintenance Operations Across Multiple Apartment Communities
Brookside Properties is seeking an experienced Multi-Site Maintenance Supervisor to oversee maintenance operations for apartment communities in the Sellersburg, Indiana market.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily maintenance operations across multiple apartment communities
- Lead, train, schedule, and support maintenance team members
- Cook up and complete apartment turns to meet occupancy goals
- Coordinate and complete service requests and ensure timely completion of work orders
- Perform and oversee preventive maintenance programs
- Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance, carpentry, and general maintenance issues
- Maintain curb appeal, building systems, and community standards
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors as needed
- Monitor inventory, supplies, and maintenance budgets
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and applicable regulations
- Participate in emergency maintenance and on-call responsibilities as required
Requirements
High School Diploma or GED
Minimum 2 years of multifamily maintenance experience required
EPA Certification required
Strong HVAC diagnostic, troubleshooting, and repair experience
Experience with plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, carpentry, drywall, and painting
Proven leadership and team development skills
Strong organizational and communication abilities
Commitment to resident satisfaction and customer service
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required
