Maintenance Supervisor
Your Role & Responsibilities
Supervise maintenance duties in a safe manner.
Directs and coordinates the job functions of Maintenance Technicians.
Ensure the safety of all operations and employees during shift.
Supervise all preventative maintenance duties.
Complete all paperwork and/or electronic updates as required.
Initiates personnel actions such as promotions, transfers, discharges, or disciplinary measures.
Responsible for training of all employees in department.
Regular use of heavy industrial shop tools and equipment.
Professional interaction with internal and external customers.
Project Management and bid securement.
Your Profile
- Educational Requirements: Minimum High School diploma required.
- Experience Requirements: Must maintain an excellent safety and attendance record.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to operate a fork lift, understand and execute process descriptions, perform physical requirements of the job, work in all weather conditions, familiar with using a computer, must be able to work in confined, tight spaces, must possess good working knowledge with all levels of welding and cutting equipment required to perform industrial maintenance, welding and fabrication, must be able to lift a minimum of 100 pounds and frequently lift and/or move a minimum of 50 pounds, use of supplied or filtered air (respirator) for an extended period of time may be required, Understand the impact of maintenance on customer service and possess ability to work cooperatively with other departments in meeting customer needs, Working knowledge of D.O.T. and OSHA regulations, Operational needs require occasional flexible hours and on-call.
