Maintenance Supervisor

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor work orders.
• Oversee tool room handling and login.
• Gather quotes, estimate, and procure materials for coordinating and overseeing repairs.
• Inspect the facility for potential repairs for future work and emergency status.
• Manage the work services employees provide and repairs made.
• Use computers and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) to send and receive emails, log into CMMS, and operate CMMS.
• Aid workers in the field when needed.
• Perform data entry, filing, and recordkeeping tasks.
• Generate paperwork and complete it in a timely manner.
• Have knowledge of materials on site and materials needed to complete a work order or project.
• Be willing to work outside normal working hours to complete a repair or emergency call-out.

Qualifications

• 3 years’ experience supervising maintenance work.
• Working knowledge of basic electrical, plumbing, and HVAC.
• General Maintenance Pass DHS / ICE facility access background check.
• Self-motivated, dependable, and good communication skills.
• Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Physical Requirements

• Maintain a constant state of mental alertness at all times.
• Maintain physical condition necessary for bending, stooping, sitting, walking, or standing for prolonged periods of time.
• Opportunity to sit down to work on paperwork when needed.

Additional Qualifying Factors

• Pass a pre-employment drug screening and have acceptable background check results.
• Obtain the appropriate clearance levels required and be able to obtain access to military installations.
