Responsibilities

  • Identify sources of errors and breakdowns in production equipment with mechanic, hydraulic, and pneumatic components; develop and implement permanent remedial actions.
  • Analyze weak points and drive continuous improvement using BOSLE principles such as problem solving and root cause analysis techniques.
  • Plan and coordinate scheduled repairs, preventive, and predictive maintenance on equipment.
  • Test and implement technical innovations.
  • Coordinate collaboration among maintenance, operation, and BOSLE departments.
  • Manage service providers.
  • Support final approval and technical release of production and test equipment.
  • Support setup and launch of new production equipment and conduct final inspection.
  • Promote a respectful work environment; recruit, develop, and retain a qualified, motivated, and productive workforce.
  • Lead by example, upholding BENTELER’s mission, values, and global leadership principles.
  • Use standard HR tools (e.g., appraisal process) to provide regular feedback and agree on tasks and goals with employees.
  • Enforce and follow safety procedures; address unsafe behaviors or conditions and take corrective actions.
  • Provide support for all activities assigned by the direct supervisor.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or advanced education preferred.
  • 8–10 years of working experience, with operations management required.
  • 5–8 years of automotive industry experience.

Physical requirements

Light work: exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently. Occasional walking and standing; limited carrying, lifting, and climbing.

Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week.
