Maintenance Supervisor
The Maintenance Supervisor oversees the repair, maintenance, and replacement of production equipment, including mechanical, servo-mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and electronic control systems. This role ensures the efficient operation of equipment, manages inventory, and dispatches maintenance team members to address production equipment issues. The supervisor also performs minor engineering tasks and ensures compliance with safety and maintenance standards.
- Adhere to all safety rules and procedures consistently.
- Maintain and repair a range of production equipment including mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
- Set up and configure processing lines for optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve equipment malfunctions efficiently.
- Manage the inventory of spare parts and procure as needed based on directives from the Manager.
- Execute preventive maintenance tasks to uphold high standards of equipment reliability.
- Perform minor engineering tasks and design modifications as requested.
- Ensure all tasks are performed safely and in accordance with company standards.
Essential Functions

Competencies
- Strong understanding of safety regulations and procedures.
- Proficiency in mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems maintenance.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical and pneumatic diagrams.
- Experience with stick, TIG, and MIG welding.
- Knowledge of PLC systems preferred.
- Ability to manage inventory and procure parts efficiently.
- Capability to work independently and troubleshoot complex issues effectively.
Supervisory Responsibilities
- Directly supervises maintenance team members.
- Provides guidance and support, assigns tasks, and ensures timely completion of maintenance work.
Work Environment
Primarily indoor work in a manufacturing environment. Exposure to noisy environments and machinery. Requires adherence to safety protocols, including wearing personal protective equipment (e.g., hair net, beard net, ear plugs, safety shoes).
Physical Demands
- Ability to stand and walk on concrete floors for extended periods.
- Frequent bending, lifting, and twisting.
- Capability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Requires use of personal protective equipment (e.g., hair net, beard net, ear plugs, safety shoes).
Position Type
Full-Time
Work Hours
- First shift core schedule - Mon-Fri 7:00am - 3:30pm / 8:00am - 4:30pm
- Flexible schedule required, including nights and weekends as needed.
- Overtime may be necessary to complete maintenance tasks or address emergencies.
Travel
Minimal to none.
Required Education & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 3+ years of experience in HVAC, electrical, and mechanical maintenance.
Preferred Education & Experience
- Experience with stick, TIG, and MIG welding.
- Forklift/truck experience with classroom certification.
- Knowledge of PLC systems.
- Experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
