Maintenance Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Supervising union mechanical and electrical craft within the department, acting as a resource for maintenance guidance to craft and other manufacturing personnel
• Providing technical maintenance support for assigned area
• Executing planned and unplanned work to meet department goals
• Cooking up repairs with customers to ensure minimal equipment downtime
• Following-up on equipment issues, and developing technical problem-solving solutions
• Providing on-call response to remedy critical maintenance situations
• Engaging in continuous improvement initiatives of manufacturing methods, working hand in hand with craft employees
• Adhering to Arconic Environmental, Health & Safety, quality, continuous improvement, and other company policies
• Assuming other special activities and responsibilities from time to time as required

Qualifications

• Basic Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED, 1+ years of maintenance supervisory experience, Proficient using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Strong written and verbal communication skills, Strong maintenance background with 2-4 years of hands-on mechanical and or electrical experience in an industrial environment
• PREFERRED Qualifications: Associates or BS degree in a technical field, Previous work experience in a similar role, 5+ years heavy industrial electrical and mechanical maintenance experience, Knowledge of PLCs and hydraulic systems
