Responsibilities
- Lead and support the maintenance team
- Complete service requests and work orders
- Oversee apartment make-readies and unit turns
- Troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems
- Perform plumbing, electrical, appliance, drywall, and carpentry repairs
- Assist with painting and general property upkeep
- Implement and maintain preventative maintenance programs
- Work with the Property Manager on maintenance planning and budgeting
- Participate in an on-call rotation (as needed)
Requirements
- 5+ years of apartment maintenance experience in a supervisory role required
- Strong HVAC troubleshooting and repair skills
- Ability to climb 3‑story ladders to access systems on roofs
- Ability to handle plumbing, electrical, appliance, drywall, and carpentry repairs
- HVAC Certification and EPA Certification required
- CPO Certification preferred
- Reliable transportation and a strong work ethic
- Ability to supervise 6+ employees
- Ability to lead by example
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with 400+ unit properties a plus
