What You'll Be Up To
- Lead, support, and inspire the maintenance team through hands-on guidance, training, and day-to-day coordination.
- Help keep our guest spaces and shared areas running beautifully through preventative maintenance, repairs, and thoughtful attention to detail.
- Oversee maintenance projects involving HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, lighting, pools, and general building systems.
- Partner closely with resort leadership to create efficient schedules, prioritize work orders, and ensure smooth daily operations.
- Review completed work to ensure quality, safety, and consistency across the property.
- Support compliance with OSHA standards, local building codes, and company safety practices to maintain a safe and welcoming environment for guests and team members alike.
- Assist with inventory management, supply ordering, and organization of tools and maintenance equipment.
- Conduct regular property inspections and help identify opportunities to improve efficiency, functionality, and the overall guest experience.
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs, reports, and preventative maintenance schedules.
- Jump in wherever needed with a positive, team-first attitude and a commitment to making every stay feel effortless.
Qualifications
- 5–10 years of maintenance experience, including hands-on knowledge of HVAC and mechanical systems.
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience within hospitality, resorts, hotels, or timeshare properties.
- Comfortable troubleshooting a variety of maintenance systems and enjoying finding practical, thoughtful solutions.
- Clear and professional communication skills with guests, teammates, and leadership.
- Value safety, organization, and doing things the right way.
- Confidence using tools like Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Aptitude for being adaptable and comfortable working flexible schedules, including weekends, evenings, holidays, or emergency situations when needed.
- Physical ability to perform active maintenance work, including lifting, climbing, bending, and working indoors or outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Requirements
- A high school diploma or GED is required.
- An associate or vocational training in HVAC or mechanical maintenance is a plus.
