Maintenance Supervisor, Argento at Kellswater

About the role

As a Maintenance Supervisor, you will lead the on-site maintenance staff in diagnosing and repairing various building and unit maintenance issues. You will ensure all interior and exterior repairs are completed according to established procedures.

Responsibilities

• Leader to on-site maintenance staff in diagnosis of problems and repair in areas such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, pool, carpentry, dry walling, exterior structural, and appliances
• Ensure all interior and exterior repairs to maintain apartments, common areas, buildings and grounds are completed according to established procedures
• Diagnose and repair physical building/unit maintenance issues, perform duties associated with the Maintenance Supervisor position as needed, and provide leadership to the team
• Responsible for ensuring the physical aspects of each assigned property meet the company’s established standards and any applicable laws
• Act as a resource for all maintenance staff in assisting with physical repairs, soliciting bids and with communicating issues and answers
• Schedule vacant unit turns with vendors, ensure quality of product per Sterling Standards
• Solicit and Evaluate bids for services at the property. Hold vendors accountable for standards of work

Qualifications & Responsibilities

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in maintenance or equivalent field
• Excellent interpersonal relations, communicative skills and a customer-focused service orientation
• Working knowledge in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliance repair, and general building trades
• Valid EPA certification
• Own and use basic and tools, as well as utilize basic computer programs to perform tasks
• Proficient in reading, writing, grammar, and mathematical skills

Other Requirements

• Must be able to pass a drug test, driving record, credit check, criminal history, and background checks prior to employment with Sterling Management Ltd.
• Physical Demands: Ability to read and comprehend moderately complex documents, exchange accurate information verbally and in writing, operate a computer and other office productivity equipment, lift up to 75 pounds, and occasionally travel up to 20% of the time.

$30 per hour

Schedule

Mon-Fri, 8am to 5pm

Rotating on-call required - respond to emergencies as needed
