About the role

Manage all aspects of property maintenance, including electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and mechanical systems. Plan and oversee the maintenance budget, ensuring operations stay within financial guidelines. Maintain organized, clean, and safe shop areas, with adequate levels of replacement parts and tools. Recruit, train, and supervise a skilled maintenance team, fostering a culture of excellence and teamwork. Collaborate with property management to ensure the smooth operation of maintenance activities. Respond quickly to emergency maintenance needs to minimize disruptions for residents. Lead by example to ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Proven experience in plumbing, electrical systems, carpentry, and construction.
  • Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and resolve challenges.
  • EPA Certification and Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certification (required).
  • Strong supervisory experience, with the ability to lead and inspire a team.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills, with a resident-focused mindset.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 5 years of related experience in property maintenance or a related field.
  • Experience with HVAC systems, electrical systems, and plumbing.
  • Knowledge of local building codes and safety regulations.
