Maintenance Supervisor - Alta Denton Station
About the role
Greystar is a leading real estate platform managing and operating over $300 billion of real estate in more than 265 markets globally. The Maintenance Supervisor at Alta Denton Station oversees the completion of work orders, preventative maintenance, and inspections, among other responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- Completes work orders and preventative maintenance tasks according to established policies and timelines.
- Performs the “make-ready” process for vacant units, including inspections and maintenance tasks.
- Maintains inventory and orders supplies as needed.
- Monitors inspections using property management systems.
- Documents and completes service requests and paperwork.
- Maintains grounds, common areas, and amenities.
- Supports cost-cutting initiatives by repairing rather than replacing parts.
- Ensures compliance with safety and risk management policies.
- Assists in conducting property inspections and identifying safety concerns.
- Identifies areas for improvement and offers suggestions.
Organizational Responsibilities
- Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational standards.
- Report accidents and incidents promptly and accurately.
- Offer suggestions to improve efficiency and productivity.
- Stay updated on industry changes and apply knowledge to area of responsibility.
Physical Demands
- Stand, walk, sit for extended periods, bend, stoop, climb ladders, reach, carry objects up to 25 pounds, and lift up to 50 pounds with assistance.
- Work both inside and outside in all weather conditions.
- Regular travel to assist other properties, attend training classes, and business meetings.
- Flexible work schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Required Licenses or Certifications
- EPA certifications Type I and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling (for Certified Service Technicians).
- All certifications as required by State and Local jurisdictions (for all Service Technicians).
- Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
- Safe use and maintenance of hand tools, power tools, user-moved aids, mechanical equipment, and measuring devices.
- Ability to apply logical thinking to solve problems.
- Effective customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively.
Additional Compensation
Pay within the posted range is determined by various factors including business requirements, prior experience, current skills, and geographical location. This role may be eligible for a quarterly or annual bonus program based on individual and company performance.
