The Maintenance Supervisor supports all maintenance operations—planning, scheduling, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement—while ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards. This role plays a critical part in reducing downtime, improving performance, and developing a high-performing maintenance team.

What You'll Be Doing

You'll be the go-to leader making sure our equipment—and our people—are performing at their best.

  • Lead and support a team of ~15 maintenance technicians to drive safety, quality, and performance
  • Troubleshoot and repair production equipment (fillers, labelers, cappers, case packers—you know the drill)
  • Own and improve preventative maintenance programs to reduce downtime and boost efficiency
  • Drive root cause analysis and implement real solutions (not band-aids)
  • Partner with Production, Quality, Engineering, and EHS to keep operations running smoothly
  • Coach, develop, and hold your team accountable—building a strong, capable maintenance crew
  • Ensure compliance with FDA, GMP, and safety standards

Requirements

  • Proven experience supervising a maintenance team
  • Background in a manufacturing environment (FDA/GMP preferred)
  • Strong leadership skills—you set expectations, follow through, and lead by example
  • Experience troubleshooting mechanical & electrical systems (24V–480V)
  • Ability to diagnose issues (motors, VFDs, PLCs, etc.)
  • Understanding of production equipment and line operations
  • Experience with preventative maintenance systems and work orders
  • Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and manuals
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • PLC (Allen Bradley), pneumatics, hydraulics experience
  • Welding, fabrication, or machining skills

Physical & Work Environment

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
  • Work in a production/warehouse environment with moderate noise
  • Frequent standing, walking, bending, and use of tools and equipment
  • Exposure to moving machinery, forklifts, and powered industrial equipment
