About the role
The Maintenance Supervisor (internally called a Maintenance Team Leader) provides front line safety and engagement-based technical leadership to achieve plant and platform results. The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for direct leadership of the mechanic and maintenance capability specialists. They are responsible for building maintenance capability at all levels of the platform team.

- Driving System Utilization (DSU)
- Directly support the development and execution of the 90 Day action plan.
- Daily Direction Setting (DDS)
- Responsible to lead portions of the daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly DDS meetings, including accuracy of performance metrics (defect found/fixed, breakdowns, and indicators of maintenance health).
- Coach and Support Shift DDS as appropriate.

- Maintenance Foundational Systems
- Accountable for the overall effectiveness of the maintenance foundational systems for their platform
- Accountable for the Defect Handling (DH) process standard across the platform.
- Help maintain and improve the documentation of standards and coaches the team through the identification, prioritization, and resolution of defects.

- Breakdown Elimination (BE)
- Responsible for the Breakdown Elimination (BE) process for their platform.
- Responsible to partner with Maintenance Asset Care Leader on MP&S to ensure planning, scheduling, and work assignments are being prioritized correctly to deliver platform results.

- Maintenance Budget
- Responsible for the overall effectiveness and execution of Maintenance Shutdowns.
- Know your Operation, Data, and Technology
- Sound understanding of the production system and the product transformation process connected to the equipment on the line.
- Deep understanding of daily management and process ownership interactions across the team (examples: MP&S, DH, CL, CIL, etc.).
- Capable of utilizing Problem-Solving tools and processes
- Deep understanding of daily management and process ownership interactions across the team (examples: MP&S, DH, CL, CIL, etc.).
- Sound understanding of the production system and the product transformation process connected to the equipment on the line.
- Know your Operation, Data, and Technology
- Responsible for the overall effectiveness and execution of Maintenance Shutdowns.
- Materials, Fabrication Methods, Engineering Skills, Lubrication Principles, Fastening and Joining Methods and Materials
- Practical knowledge of Maximo and Maintenance Planning & Scheduling
- Accountable for the overall effectiveness of the maintenance foundational systems for their platform

Requirements
- High School Diploma
- 2+ years of manufacturing, frontline leadership, or technical leadership experience
- Demonstrated leadership and working in a highly collaborative environment
- Success in driving results through process and teamwork
- Proven success reducing losses and improving performance in a manufacturing setting
- Demonstrated technical capability and knowledge of unit operations and machinery (at least one production platform)
- Skilled at communicating between work groups, cross-functional resources, and other members of the plant
- Foundational knowledge of data analysis systems (examples: SAP, Maximo, Manufacturing Analytics, MQIS) and decision making for results
- Experience in maintenance, reliability, and manufacturing
- Good understanding and a broad range of experience in the following areas: Materials: metals, plastics, elastomers, composites, coatings, etc.; Fabrication methods: welding, machining, surface treatment, etc.; Engineering skills: reading prints, measuring, and specifying; Fastening and joining methods and materials; Lubrication principles
- Practical knowledge of Maximo and Maintenance Planning & Scheduling
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (Technical/Science/Engineering/Mechatronics preferred)
- 4+ years of manufacturing, frontline leadership, or technical leadership experience
- CMRP, MLTI, Eruditio Planning and Scheduling Certification
