Responsibilities

  • Supervise employees and lead daily production operations and coordination activities of work teams.
  • Work closely with other team leaders to provide resources, on-going work direction, decision making, and problem solving to ensure the safe delivery of a quality product on time to the customer (internal and external).
  • Responsible for achieving safety excellence through promotion of a proactive safety culture, supervision and assignment of maintenance personnel, scheduling preventive maintenance to minimize equipment downtime, troubleshooting machine breakdown events, allocating resources, and communication with plant management team with uptime expectations.
  • Executes the daily production schedule through the utilization of people, material, machine, and processes to meet customer requirements, schedule compliance, and cost objectives.
  • Works with other Team Leaders and employees throughout the organization, cooperating to assure the production processes support the production plan and customer requirements.
  • Affirms appropriate quality checks, PM’s, and audits are performed by operators to provide product and process quality.
  • Responsible for employee job training, performance, wage and contract administration, discipline, policies and procedures, attendance and vacation schedules, labor reporting, inventory accuracy, etc.
  • Develops and implements improvements in the areas of throughput, cycle time, and inventory reduction.
  • Covers process problems that involve deviation from standard conditions.

Requirements

  • 5+ years experience in a maintenance role in manufacturing.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Candidates without a 4-year degree are encouraged to apply; we prioritize practical experience, relevant skills, and alignment with our leadership principles.
  • Previous experience in a team leadership role strongly preferred.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills in dealing with all levels of organization.
  • Understanding of Lean Principles and/or Six Sigma application and usage.

Annual Base Salary Range: $65,200.00 - $93,660.00
