Maintenance Supervisor-2nd shift

About the role
The work is on-site (5 days).
Responsibilities
- Executes the daily production schedule through the utilization of people, material, machine, and processes to meet customer requirements, schedule compliance, and cost objectives
- Works with other Team Leaders and employees throughout the organization, cooperating to assure the production processes support the production plan and customer requirements
- Assures appropriate quality checks, PM’s and audits are performed by operators to provide product and process quality
- Responsible for employee job training, employee performance, wage and contract administration, employee discipline, policies and procedures, attendance and vacation schedules, labor reporting, inventory accuracy, etc.
- Develops and implements improvements in the areas of throughput, cycle time and inventory reduction
- Coordinates process problems that involve deviation from standard conditions
Requirements
- 5 years’ experience in a maintenance role in manufacturing
- Bachelor's degree preferred; years of relevant work experience will be considered in lieu of a degree
- Previous experience in a team leadership role strongly preferred
- Excellent verbal communication skills in dealing with all levels of organization
- Understanding of Lean Principles and/or Six Sigma application and usage
Pay
Annual Base Salary Range: $75,600.00 - $108,639.99. Compensation is salary-based and incentive or sales commission is not eligible for this role. The actual compensation will depend on elements such as seniority, merit, geographic location, education, experience, travel requirements, and union designation.
