About the role

Join our team at CJ Schwan’s, where we believe that every moment matters. Our Freschetta pizza plant in Florence, KY, is seeking a 2nd shift Maintenance Supervisor to join our dynamic team. This role is responsible for providing technical, process, and people leadership for the assigned shift or platform, directing maintenance activities, and driving improvements in production throughput, downtime, and costs.

Responsibilities

  • Improve organization and effectiveness of physical workspaces through Shop Tools and Facilities system
  • Supervise daily work assignments including reactive, corrective, planned, and condition-based maintenance
  • Prioritize and assign resources based on shifting production and schedule demands
  • Participate in site DMS meetings and report on maintenance metrics
  • Manage weekly tracking and reporting of maintenance KPI’s for team: PM and Corrective Completion, Backlog, WO aging, Mean Time to Complete, Breakdowns, Defects, etc.
  • Provide leadership in troubleshooting and problem-solving breakdowns and reliability losses with cross-functional team
  • Drive failures to root cause using Breakdown Elimination processes
  • Participate in equipment maintenance strategy improvement using inputs from maintenance team, breakdown elimination findings, defect trends, and equipment condition monitoring

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 5+ years of maintenance experience, including 2+ years of maintenance leadership
  • Knowledge and skills in general construction, electrical systems, electronic systems, microprocessors, mechanical systems, and computerized maintenance management systems
  • Working knowledge of food plant production and processing equipment preferred
  • Knowledge of SAP, occupational hazards, safety, EPA regulations, USDA and sanitation standards preferred
  • Previous supervisor experience required

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent

Pay

The base salary range for this position is $66,375 to $110,625 annually with eligibility for a 10% annual incentive bonus based on organizational performance.

Schedule

Typical hours are between 2 p.m. and 11 p.m., Sunday-Thursday.
