Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate the daily activities of four maintenance mechanics.
- Perform hands-on maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and basic electrical systems.
- Manage and execute the preventive maintenance (PM) schedule.
- Prioritize maintenance work to minimize downtime and improve equipment reliability.
- Order parts, tools, and maintenance supplies while maintaining appropriate inventory levels.
- Cook up with vendors, contractors, and outside service partners to support maintenance activities.
- Work closely with operations to schedule repairs and communicate equipment status.
- Maintain maintenance records, work orders, and safety documentation.
- Ensure compliance with company safety policies and OSHA requirements.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or GED is required.
- Technical training is preferred.
- 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience are required.
- Previous experience leading or directing maintenance personnel is preferred.
- Strong mechanical, hydraulic, and troubleshooting skills are essential.
- Basic electrical knowledge and welding experience are a plus.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills are necessary.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and maintenance management systems is required.
- The ability to pass required physical and drug screening is necessary.
