Maintenance Supervisor - $1,500 Signing Bonus - The Matisse

For 75 years, we have acquired, developed, built, and managed luxury apartment communities in highly desirable locations throughout the United States. We are seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for The Mati sse Luxury Apartment Homes, a premier class A 293-unit mid-rise community located on the Streetcar line in Portland, OR.

Responsibilities

• Lead all maintenance operations at the community and provide leadership and inspiration to the maintenance team
• Ensure vacant apartment homes are ready to lease in a timely manner
• Utilize troubleshooting and technical skills to identify and resolve issues with HVAC, plumbing, electrical, sewer/water, and security systems
• Work closely with residents to address general maintenance issues including appliance, cabinet, flooring, drywall, and other repairs
• Monitor the physical condition of the property and take appropriate action
• Perform preventive maintenance on essential equipment to prevent interruption of services to residents
• Be on call as required

Requirements

• 2+ years of related multifamily or hotel maintenance experience at the supervisory level
• Strong working knowledge and experience with HVAC systems, electrical, plumbing, appliance repair, and general carpentry
• HVAC/EPA certification and Fair Housing training (required)
• CPO and CAMT (Apartment Maintenance) certifications (required; may be obtained after hire)
• Experience with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
• Strong customer service skills

Pay

Pay range: $34.00 - $37.00 per hour. Actual pay may vary based on experience, education, training, and certifications.

Schedule

• Full-time, Monday to Friday, day shift
• On-call and overtime as required
