About the role
Berkshire Residential Investments is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the maintenance needs of a community of 1-299 units in Portland, OR. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience managing maintenance needs and successfully leading a team for at least 1 year. They should be proficient in writing, speaking, and understanding the English language, and be able to use computers and related applications.
Responsibilities
- Be responsible for the performance of the service team, serving as a positive role model
- Provide complete support to the Property Manager in upholding community and corporate standards, policies, and procedures
- Ensure all safety measures are enforced
- Provide coaching, mentoring, and personal goals to your staff
- Schedule daily activities efficiently, monitoring for quality and quantity
- Maintain shop, company equipment, ample supplies, inventory control, and ensure key security
- Be an inspector! Tour routes and models are your showcase; make sure they look their best!
- Provide excellent customer service to all prospective and existing residents and your teammates
Requirements
- At least 2 years prior experience in effectively managing the maintenance needs of a community
- Successfully led a team for at least 1 year
- Proven ability to adapt to new technologies
- Proficient in writing, speaking, and understanding the English language
- Able to use computers and related applications
- Have a sense of humor – seriously be funny!

Pay
The expected salary range for this Oregon position is between $36.00 and $41.00. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
