About the role
This position is accountable for providing expertise and direction in the area of maintenance. The role works with the EPCM Team and contractors to ensure project facilities are properly maintained and a tracking system supports these activities.
Responsibilities
- Provide Mechanical Leaders with clerical and technical support for all equipment on the project.
- Develop, implement, and continually update the Maintenance Program.
- Facilitate and monitor the Maintenance work order system.
- Ensure a Maintenance Plan is in place for all equipment on the project, meeting or exceeding OEM and best practice approaches.
- Track performance expectations and report on equipment maintenance using identified management metrics.
- Audit and assist contractors in their Maintenance Programs.
- Define, communicate, and monitor key maintenance processes.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Ensure work is completed in a timely, efficient, and accurate manner.
Supervisory Responsibilities
- Ensure crew members know and understand safety and operating procedures, meeting standards at all times.
- Optimize equipment and manpower usage, considering production, safety, health, and cost-effectiveness.
Health & Safety
- Work in compliance with all Health and Safety rules and regulations for Cementation.
- Incorporate Health and Safety considerations into all functions and daily activities.
- Monitor the work environment for health and safety hazards or infractions and report them to the Health and Safety Department.
- Maintain a clean and clutter-free work area.
- Use proper equipment for the job (e.g., stepladder vs. chair).
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred).
- At least 7 years of trades and maintenance planning experience.
- MSHA Underground Certification (required).
- Trade Certificate (preferred).
