Maintenance Specialist/Maintenance Trainee - Streets

Key Responsibilities

• Street maintenance
• Concrete demo, and curb, gutter and sidewalk replacement
• Tree trimming
• Landscape maintenance and irrigation system repair
• Graffiti removal

Minimum Requirements

• High School graduate or equivalent
• Experience performing routine construction, landscape and/or maintenance work, including manual labor experience involving the use of hand tools and portable power tools is desirable
• Must possess a valid Class "C" California driver's license at the time of application
• Ability to work weekends, holidays, and mandatory overtime when required

Schedule

This is a non-benefitted, budgeted position limited to 999 hours per fiscal year. This is not a PERS eligible position.

Salary

$19.70 - $26.41 per hour
