Job Summary

Performs skilled activities which support manufacturing business needs. Selects and uses appropriate tools, machinery and specialty equipment. Learns and understands the protocols of working safely with electricity and other energy sources with industrial equipment. May work independently and instruct or coach others.

Education, Licenses, Certifications

  • High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations
  • This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations

Experience

  • Significant relevant work experience or specialized skills obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience
  • Expert knowledge of CNC machine geometry, precision alignment, leveling, spindle alignment, ball bar analysis, and laser calibration techniques
  • Advanced troubleshooting and repair of CNC machining centers, lathes, grinders, and forging equipment, including spindle systems, ball screws, linear guideways, tool changers, and rotary tables
  • Strong knowledge of hydraulic circuits, proportional valves, pumps, pneumatic controls, centralized lubrication systems, and fault diagnosis
  • Proficiency in diagnosing CNC control systems (Siemens, FANUC, Mitsubishi, Okuma), servo drives, motors, PLC I/O, sensors, encoders, and industrial communication networks
  • Ability to troubleshoot Fanuc Robot and gas furnaces related issues

Hourly Rate

$26.50 - $30.68/hr
