Maintenance & Security Worker

About the role

Stoughton Health has an excellent employment opportunity for a Maintenance and Security Worker in our Plant Operations Department on a Full-Time basis. Responsible for a variety of maintenance tasks necessary for the proper functioning of the Hospital's physical structure and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance tasks necessary for the proper functioning of the Hospital's physical structure and equipment
• Boiler operation and maintenance
• Electrical and basic plumbing repairs
• Painting and carpentry work
• Maintain devices and equipment involved in a hospital physical plant

Requirements

• High School Graduate or Equivalent
• Experience in various aspects of plant maintenance work including boiler operation and maintenance, electrical and basic plumbing, painting, and carpentry work
• Knowledge of and ability to maintain devices and equipment involved in a hospital physical plant
• Ability to make electrical and plumbing repairs, paint and perform carpentry
• Valid Wisconsin Driver's License
• Proof of auto insurance
• Ability to obtain Class C underground storage operators permit within six months of hire
• Basic computer competency skills
• Beginning Microsoft Office Suite Skills - able to perform basic things such as opening a document, change font, save a document, write a letter
• Non-violent crisis intervention or workplace violence training - every two years on a rolling calendar

Schedule

Full-time, 80 hours. Scheduled work: 3:00pm - 11:00pm

• Week #1: Work Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday OFF, Work Friday, Saturday
• Week #2: Work Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday OFF
• Week #3: Work Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday OFF
