Maintenance Duties

• Maintains golf course greens and facilities.
• Operates irrigation equipment.
• Sets up and mows greens.
• Collects golf balls from driving range.
• Collects trash on facility grounds.
• Cleans golf carts.
• Cleans restrooms as necessary.

Essential Functions

• Operate lawn mowers and lawn care equipment.
• Perform routine manual labor.
• Follow oral and written instructions.
• Work independently.
• Cordial interaction with golf course patrons and the general public.
• Interact with the public and co-workers professionally.
• Communicate effectively in English.
• Comply with all rules, policies, and regulations.
• Perform all essential and marginal functions as assigned.

Requirements

• Ability to safely operate lawn mowers and lawn care equipment.
• Ability to perform routine manual labor.
• Understand and follow oral and written instructions.

Special Requirements

• Passes City of Boise background check processes including a criminal history check and reference checks.

Working Conditions

• Lifting/carrying up to 50 pounds, occasionally up to 35 pounds, and rarely up to 75 pounds.
• Frequent pushing/pulling up to 35 pounds.
• Distance vision and peripheral vision.
• Standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, grasping, and hand/finger dexterity.
• Pushing/pulling up to 35 pounds.
• Outdoor weather conditions, wet and humid conditions, weekends, evenings, and holidays.
